This 2-room apartment is to serve its owner as an occasional residence in Bratislava. Emphasis was placed on functionality. The standard of the apartment (floor, bathroom, doors) was already implemented by the building – so we adapted the rest of the interior to it. Since the floor was quite prominent, we tried to soften it with a more neutral interior. As the client wanted to add color to the interior, we supplemented this softer, neutral base with mustard on the sofa, copper and orange accessories, etc., which enliven the space and add contrast. The kitchen is the dominant element of the living space, so we chose light tones in combination with wood and concrete decor. It does not lack the BORA cooking system with extraction below – so the kitchen has a cleaner, more compact impression and, last but not least, it is also a more efficient method of extraction. There is also a desk for home office and a wardrobe in the bedroom.
